mission

If your definition of recreation includes freeing your spirit, energizing your body and stretching your mind, then Crossings is the place for you.

Located just one block off Main Street at 320 East Avenue in the historic Carnegie building, Crossings is where you will find inspiring and unusual art exhibits in its gallery space. You will also find opportunities to learn everything from writing and painting to yoga and Spanish. Stay into the evening and you will be amazed by the regular musical concerts performed by a wide variety of artists, from folk to jazz to classical,
both local and those of international renown. Many of these groups can be found only in large city venues and rarely in settings as intimate as Crossings.

Whether you are artistically undernourished or simply seek to escape from the mundane world, Crossings is your destination.

Make stuff from nothing; magic prevails.  Loves dogs; soapbox to rescue. This job is the longest she's ever stayed with; feels like the first right one. Invites you to let loose of your creative self; It's all about the process/journey!

Ellie
Co-Director

I publish a pet magazine, The Wagazine. I spend my free time rescuing Springer Spaniels and enjoying my own four. And I play the French horn.

Jonya
Publicity & Class Coordinator

I am happiest when I have a good book and I've the time to fall into it for an hour or so. And I usually am reading at least one book, sometimes three. I'm a happy person!

Angie
Retail Management & Finances

When I'm not at Crossings, I'm either lost in a good book and cuddling with my fur babies or trying my hand at my own art. I love music and even help my sister with her new studio. Basically keeping busy when I can!

Terri
Retail Sales Associate

I enjoy reading, sewing, cooking but my favorite thing is to spend time with my grandchildren and my family. We have great times at our lake home creating memories with family and friends.

The best thing about memories is making them.

Phyllis
Publicity & Graphic Design

I love the outdoors. I enjoy time on the river and on the family farm. I also create custom jewelry as a sideline. I have no clue what "down time" means. I have 2 grown children, a grandson and a Cockatoo named Cowboy.

Shannon
Exhibit Coordinator

I have an obsession with rocks and working outside in the yard in fall, spring and summer as much as possible (landscaping). I have a legal background, horticulture background and a passion for the artistic side of life as well! I am an odd ball who has all kinds of interests and my resume would certainly prove it! ha!

Carole
Retail Sales Associate

I am working on my own line of natural/organic, small batch, eco-friendly bath, body and aromatherapy products. I love 80's music, I have 9 fur babies, and I'm happiest when I’m with my family.
