Ann Reed and Dan Chouinard have hosted a monthly community sing-along in St. Anthony Park for five years and counting. As a fundraising event for their friend, Peter Ostroushka, they are bringing it to Zumbrota! Join the fun on Saturday, July 21, 8 pm. Ann and Dan choose a bunch of familiar songs, audience members request others, lyrics are projected on a big screen and a noisy time is had by all. Come take part in what people used to do a lot, and raise funds to help support musician friend and stroke survivor Peter Ostroushko.

Songwriter, singer, guitarist, and author Ann Reed has been performing for more than 40 years with her rich, dark-chocolate voice, storytelling from the human experience, and songs that find a permanent place in the heart. Of course some of her songs and stories might end up closer to your funny bone – a little irreverence never hurt anyone. Ann’s concerts are a blend of new songs from her most recent CD, Winter Springs, Summer Falls, released November 2017, and old favorites from her catalog of nearly 300 songs.

Dan Chouinard is a honky-tonk pianist, street accordionist, concert soloist and accompanist, a polyglot both musical and linguistic, a writer, Italian teacher, and bicyclist. He is frequently commissioned to create and host programs that blend history, memoir and music for Minnesota Public Radio, the Minnesota Historical Society, Twin Cities Public Television and theaters throughout the region. And he loves a good sing-along.

DAN AND ANN TOGETHER are
co-hosts of a long-running community sing-along in St. Anthony Park which draws upwards of 100 loud people every third Wednesday of the month.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $23 at the door, available through Crossings.
