Watercolor Batik combines a familiar medium, watercolor, with a less familiar one, batik. And the combination is magic! Experience this art form for yourself on Sat., Sep. 22, from 6:30-8:30pm. Bring a beverage you enjoy, if you wish.

You do not need to be experienced in watercolor or in batik to enjoy this technique. You can work with a planned image in mind or be completely playful and create patterns. You never quite know how the final image will turn out but it is sure to be beautiful and fun to do. We will experiment with painting on Kinwashi rice paper and will use melted wax as a resist. All you need to bring with you is a willingness to experiment with color. All materials supplied. Ages 14 and up if accompanied by an adult who is also attending the class.

Price is $28 plus $10 supplies.

Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis. Many of our classes fill up early - so don't wait too long!

We take phone reservations with a valid credit card.
