If you have an inkling to do a little weaving, this class is for you. Inkle looms are small table-top looms used for weaving narrow bands of cloth traditionally used as trims and edging on clothing, but today also used for bookmarks, bracelets, belts, sashes and guitar straps.
This class is perfect for those who have never tried weaving before as well as for those with some experience, since the patterns chosen can be simple or complex. Bring your own loom to class, or borrow, or buy a loom from the instructor.
Nancy Ellison is a former home economics teacher who first studied weaving in Norway in 1968. For more information see www.EllisonSheepFarm.com.
