-3-4  surfaces (around 22"x30" in size each) for final artwork that will be created in class. Bring in the art surface that works best with the media you would like to use. Good quality surfaces should be purchased. Using paper from a sketchbook will not work for the final illustrations. Some options or ideas:

For WATERCOLOR OR INK - Purchase a paper manufactured for wet media such as Arches Watercolor, or Strathmore.

For CHALK PASTEL -  Arches Coverstock, Stonehenge or Reeves Printing paper. ACRYLIC PAINT- any watercolor paper, illustration board, or fine art paper will work.

Places like Dick Blick Art Materials or Michaels, sell sheets of any of the Fine Art papers above. They work better than pads of watercolor paper, etc.

- Brushes, containers for water, some paper towels, and any other supplies you need for art making

- Bring in a few examples of your best artwork to share with the class
